There is a sensibility that is reached through the drypoint process that cannot be replicated by other processes. As a printmaker, I take from the centuries old tradition the painstaking drypoint process, and bring it into a contemporary framework with the use of color and singular pulls. Each print is unique unto itself, offering the viewer a place of contemplation in which to ponder and wander. |
